In 1971, a young man by the name of Mazarak Khan Wazir came to Karachi with ambitions for starting a successful business with zero investment capital. Initially worked as a broker but his leadership qualities brought him as a front man for all brokers of Karachi truckers association. In 1974 he became chairman of Karachi Truck brokers association and started his own transportation company, NEW SARHAD KARACHI GOODS TRANSPORT COMPANY. The company struggled in the early years but soon became market leader.

In 1982 Chairman’s son Saif ur Rehman also joined him to support the business. The born to lead qualities of both father and son led them into the highway of success. Mazarak Khan was too active in social work and started supporting transporter community by initiating unions and associations for welfare of drivers, brokers, and other stakeholders related to transportation business. During the same time his son spent days and nights in expanding the business operations across the country.

This year in March 2017, Sair ur Rehman’s Son, Mr Kamran Wazir after graduating from the UK, decided to enter into the same business with his own brand, SAIFRAN LOGISTICS. The company aims at Coal, Cement, Power and Steel industry as well as modernizing the traditional transportation system through the introduction of SOPs, Dedicated IT systems and value added services into the market which were not used before in Pakistan.
